The route to Alma de Mar is easily accessible via Carretera del Litoral. The final three minutes are on a cobblestone rural road. We recommend a higher-clearance 4x2, 4x4, SUV, pick-up, minibus, or van; sedan vehicles are not recommended for this final stretch.

From San Salvador, take the road to Puerto de La Libertad and continue on CA-2 toward SurfCity; the journey is usually 40–50 minutes. From the airport, take the motorway toward San Salvador and then CA-2; allow 55–70 minutes. From Guatemala, enter at La Hachadura and follow the coastal route through Acajutla toward La Libertad and Playa Shalpa.

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and check-out is before 1:00 p.m. Arrivals between 10:00 p.m. and midnight have an additional US$80 charge. No new arrivals are accepted after midnight; check-in resumes at 6:00 a.m.

A refundable US$200 cash security deposit is collected on arrival. It is returned at check-out provided there are no damages, incidents, or outstanding charges.

You can book for 1 to 21 paying guests, age 2 and over. One guest is welcome and pays the two-guest minimum rate. Children under 2 stay free and do not count toward the 21 paying-guest maximum. Every guest must be reported and approved by the administration in advance.

Exclusive use of the villa, Wi-Fi, parking, 24/7 concierge assistance, assisted reception, luggage support, coordinated daily cleaning, and the five complimentary house experiences.

Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the stay. TVs include YouTube Premium and an app with international channels, live sports, films, and series. A Bose wireless speaker is also available for guests.

It has a traditional filter coffee maker and a French press. Coffee is not included, so we recommend bringing your preferred coffee. The digital coffee maker is operated only by the concierge for the Salvadoran Coffee Ritual.

You can reach the beach in three ways:1. WalkingUse the adjacent pedestrian access and reach the beach in about one minute. The concierge can guide and accompany you when requested.2. By golf cartThe concierge drives the transfer, which must be requested in advance. Seat belts are required throughout the ride.3. In your own vehicleDrive directly from the garage to the beach's main entrance.

Subject to availability and advance request, you can arrange home-style meal preparation, aromatherapy massages, private yoga classes, a magical fireworks night, and a pupusa-making class.

We can share independent providers for a private fine-dining chef, an at-home seafood experience, transport, tours, car rentals, celebration decor, and live music. Booking, coordination, and payment are handled directly with each provider. Only providers included in Alma de Mar’s recommended-provider directory may enter the property. These providers know the property rules and entry procedure. External providers who are not part of the house’s recommended directory are not permitted.

Yes. The mini market offers beverages, spirits, snacks, and select personal-care items at an additional cost. Ask the concierge during your stay.

No. Alma de Mar does not offer Day Pass access, and visitors are not permitted on the property. Only guests who have been reserved and paid for in advance may enter. To add guests to your reservation, the cost is US$80 per guest, per night. Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is before 1:00 p.m. The total number of guests on the property may not exceed 21 people.
